December catch-up

Wow, it's been a while! Oops. Here's a quick catch up of some of the stuff I've been up to since my last post...

New project

I've started a new project... can you tell what it is yet?

Cheerio for now, Lo xx

snow fun

Here's some more pictures from the fun we had yesterday...

Brr... cheerio xx

To do:

Today is another snow day, which means I have another day off - woohoo! So I've made myself a little list so that I don't spend the whole day browsing the internet (I can waste hours!).

Snow!

It's the 1st of December, I'm feeling in the spirit of Christmas, and guess what... it's snowed! Buckets!

Look at the view outside of my window early this morning...

And then once I'd attempted (and failed) to go to work, I came home and took these from our dining room...
So excited... I'm going for a walk now to take more snowy-white pictures.

Tree

I saw them putting this big beauty up in town today - with a crane! It's that massive.

It's going where this used to be...

... I never did get a ride unfortunately.

Anyway, cheerio xx

Date Night

Me and the boyf when on "date night" last night... we've said we're going to try and make it a regular thing now that we live with other people - and it's always fun to have an excuse to go out and spend time together! Last night we had sushi (my favourite).

Mmm...

c r o c h e t s n o w f l a k e

I've started a new project... I'm crocheting snowflakes to add to presents etc. for Xmas time. I've been experimenting with different yarns, colours and textures. Here's the link if you want to have a go yourself.

Sunday walk

It was the Christmas market today in my neighbourhood. Lots of pretty stalls and lots of yummy food...

Me and Floyd both had some amazing German sausage from this place!

Ducks!!

This print is done by a local artist, and it's a painting of the road the stall was on.

I think I may make this a new feature, seeing as I'm trying to make sure I go for a lovely long walk every Sunday (to keep me full of energy and fresh air). It's also a good way to discover and document my new neighbourhood.
