I may have mentioned before (a few times) that I am a pretty bad procrastinator - and I mean bad in the original sense, not in a bad-ass kind of way. I've been trying to remedy this in a number of ways, but I read something quite interesting in this book today.
Basically it states that "starting any activity causes your mind to experience a kind of psychic anxiety" which will then be relieved by completing the task. If we don't complete things, then our brains will "quietly nag away at us" until we finish what we started. So really I should just get something going and I'll be more than likely to want to keep working until it's done. Hmm, we'll see...
